24 hour Urinalysis test
What is a Urinalysis test?

A Urinalysis is not a medical urine test. It describes enzyme and nutritional deficiencies. It reveals your digestive problems, colon toxicity, allergy patterns. It reveals the effects of what you eat on your physiology. To see what the Urinalysis report may show click here.

The 24 hour Urinalysis is done at a certified laboratory. The testing procedure begins with the same standard screening tests performed in hospitals to recognize disease.

Here is a simple test everyone interested in better health should consider. This is the most easy and accurate ‘window’ on your health and diet that I know of, and it can be done in your own home. It is a tremendous tool that helps people make informed decisions about their health.

At the clinical level, Dr. Loomis found that the only possible means of identifying nutritional needs for enzymes was to conduct urinalysis tests. So he developed the 24-Hour Urinalysis Interpretation as a means of measuring what the body is holding or throwing away in order to maintain homeostasis. Over the years, the test has been improved upon and now it is used by several labs around the country. Many doctors have been trained in its use and routinely incorporate it into their office procedures.

Because most issues with health either begin with or at least involve dietary stressors; we focus first on the digestive tract in our office. Once this area is nourished and balanced many other long standing issues are resolved. Although this is not a substitute for you physician, we at the Center Of Hope believe it is the basis of wellness for everyone.

What do I get and what do I do with it?

1) The collection kit - You will receive a "kit" that includes instructions, a "sample" bottle, a "freezer" bag, and a shipping box. You will send the urine sample (via US Overnight Mail) to a specific lab and the results will be given to Dr. Elaine. The fee for this is included in your analysis however postage for mailing the urine will probably be around $20. (not included).

The procedure is to collect the urine over a 24-hour period in a gallon water bottle. Keep it refrigerated or in a cooler during this time. At the end of that period, urine is to be well mixed and then only a small sample is submitted in the bottle provided.

2) A Client symptom survey questionnaire will be included with your urine test kit. You will fill out the questionnaire and return to Dr. Elaine.

3) The results -Dr Elaine will then prepare for you a "Report of Findings" based on the urinalysis and questionnaire. The total process takes about 10 days from the day you mail your urine to the lab. Based on the "Report of Findings", Elaine will outline a customized plan to start taking a variety of enzymes (and possibly altering your diet).
We will call you with a choice of several 10 minute phone appointments for results to be discussed once the urine results are in our office. If this is not convenient results may be mailed to you at no extra charge.
